This is a wonderful tea! Especially good when brewed at the 9.75 oz setting on your Keurig. Great for cold winter days. Good for what ails ya!
I would highly recommend this tea! |

| This is my favorite beverage with the Keurig. The scent and flavor seem to fill my entire nose, mouth and head with the essence of peppermint. A lovely combination of warmth and refreshment that goes well with my morning paper and evening news. |
Excellent and Pepperminty

| This is an excellent herbal tea. Its very pepperminty tasting and that is what it is supposed to be. It is not a standard tea flavored with peppermint it is all peppermint and very nice. I like the strong taste and smell of it but I do think it needs sugar or splenda. If it is too strong for you just add some more water to the cup and water it down. But please do not water mine down its just fine the way it is!! |
Super minty and delicious

| I love herbal teas before bed, and peppermint is one of the most soothing flavors I can imagine. These k-cups make a very strong mint tea on the 8oz setting. So far, I have been very impressed with all the Gloria Jean products I have tried, and this is no exception. Those who are looking for herbal mint tea will love this. If you are looking for a flavored black tea, you are looking at the wrong product. |
Love this tea!

| This tea is very refreshing and not too strong. Great for a cold night or just to wind down in the evening. |

| This tea in my opinion is very good. I add a few teaspoons of sugar to it and it tastes like peppermint candy. I would recommend it to any peppermint tea lover! |
Finally a decaf tea that doesn't need anything added to it!

I wanted a k-cup that I could make when I didn't want any coffee but did still want a hot drink. I took a look at the types of teas available in k-cups. I had tried Gloria Jean's Hazelnut before, so I felt confident this brand could do a flavored tea well. I purchased this peppermint blend both based on the good reviews (I wanted a strong flavoring) and the good price (there was a discount offered). The first thing I noticed while it was brewing was that I could really smell the peppermint! That was the first clue that I had made the right choice in tea. Then I tasted it... Finally, a k-cup that doesn't need anything added to it. No sugar, no cream/half&half/milk, no honey even. It was perfect all by itself. I can see myself drinking this peppermint tea almost as much as my coffee k-cups, if not more.
I have a basic Keurig brewer and on the large setting, which I think is 9 ounces, it is perfect. It's a good "warm you up" drink after shoveling snow. :) |
Excellent Peppermint Tea

This stuff is very strong according to my wife. Only drawback is that since I brew coffee mostly with the Keurig, it tends to come out tasting a bit like coffee. Even when I brew a couple buffer cups of hot water to transition between coffee and tea, she says it tastes tinted of coffee.
But that has nothing to do with the quality of this product. Pretty good stuff. |
Good for iced tea

Okay so as a tea-lover I thought let me give this tea try. First of all this being a K-cup makes it easy to make the tea.
So here are the pros:
Great taste, the cups actually have a leaf of mint so really gives a nice flavor to the brew. Tea is good for your body, lots of anti-oxidants. Also this particular k-cup uses a good quality of tea (tender leaves) so makes it better.
The Cons: can be expensive compared to other alternatives, I ran out once, and Amazon did not have it on sale so I decided to buy the tea-bags that you dip in hot water, didn't taste nearly as good, so stock up. I am not sure how long the actual mint leaf can last inside of that k-cup so there is a strict shelf life.
Other thoughts:
Great tea experience overall, but I like the English Breakfast tea much better. |
